In Macau

went to Macau for 2 days 1 night on the weekend b4 the golden week, we wanted to look for Hotel after we arrived there, but saw some promotion at the ferry pier so we bought the package there. The hotel we lived calls "Rio Hotel", it's the newest Hotel in Macau, just opened on March 1st this yr, so it's still very clean and quiet. The first day in Macau was memorable becuz of the weather, it was raining cats and dogs!!! We first went to the new park ((漁人碼頭)) near SANDS Casino, but maybe it's a friday + bad weather, so there weren't many ppl, all shops were opened but no one shopping. Then we took bus to 新馬路 and 大三巴, the road in Macau is very narrow, the walkway can't really fit more than two ppl to walk parallelly. There were also many Portugese style buildings there, the most famous one is the Church and 大三巴i guess~ After we walked around for like 2 hrs we took bus back to Hotel again, we were all wet from head to toes cuz it was pouring outside. Then we had our buffet dinner @ the hotel. Finally at around 10pm we started to browse around the hotel's Casino, it didn't have much to see cuz most ppl went to SANDS or PO KING, so we decided to head to SANDS too. It's the first time for me to enter any Casino in Macau, unexpectedly i didn't have any ID check there unlike I'm in VAN~ What i can say is the Casino is super big!!! lots of ppl, lots of tables! What i hate is there's too many ppl smoking, can't really take a deep breath there. The shows were awesome, we stood there for over an hour just for watching the shows. Finally I lost HKD$100 in 10 mins so i decided to leave that ghosty place at about 1am.

2nd Day started off with a free buffet breakfast at the hotel, then we went back to the park ((漁人碼頭)) to take a look again, cuz yesterday was just too difficult to finish walking the whole park. After we arrived there we saw many ppl wearing TVB t-shirt running around, oh they were recording some charity show for TVB~ dunno if i'll be appeared on TV ne~ before i saw this with my eyes i thought all the charity shows were kinda fake, but now i know those artists really have to run around and play those stupid game~ Then we went to Macau Tower, the 3rd highest tower in the world. Up there we can see the whole Macau, very nice views~~~ Finally we took bus to "dum仔" to eat the super famous pork buns and bought some 豬肉乾 too~

1. SANDS CASINO, must go la

2. Macau Tower, must go too

3. the new theme park in Macau, must go 3 la

4. the famous portugese style building in "dum仔", mixed with chinese decoration inside the buildings, very nice.

In HK - Disneyland

Wanted to go disneyland with my older cousin when I come back this time, but before i could find a time to go with him he already went with his parents during the Easter holiday, so I just went there with Ben this time~ Didn't have any expectations for this HK disneyland before i go, cuz whatever news i could hear were all negative things, especially the complains during Easter holiday: small, crowded, long line-ups.... etc. So what I thought was no-expectations = no disappointments~~

Yesterday was quite a good day to go Disneyland... little ppl, no Big Big Sun, not very high temperature... Most of the attractions required to wait about 5 mins only! Of cuz those rides were not attractive enough for us la.... especially got kwoned by the long line-ups (we got fastpass though) to play that winnie-the-pooh adventure thing (小熊維尼歷險之旅)... -_- the better one was the space mountains roller-coaster, we played twice in a roll~ The best attractions for me were the performances, like the golden mickeys musical and 3-D show... really good shows, must see for tourists~~~ We arrived disneyland at around 12 and we left after the fireworks at around 8:30pm and we already played most of the things (of cuz exclude some low b stuff like Tea-cups la), so i would say one day is more than enough ---- IF it's now crowded and no line-ups.

Disney train - this mickey mouse logo = business opporunity & $$$

Me & Minnie - I can tell it's really hot to wear this costumes

BBQ Duck in Summer =D

In HK - Daddy's Bday

had dinner on last Friday to "kind of" celebrate my dad's bday, i say "kind of" becuz we didn't tell anyone the dinner was for my dad until the cake came out, otherwise ppl would buy gifts or do人情 (money) for sure, which my parents didn't want it to happen. Anyways we reserved 3 tables @Maxim Restaurant, 1.5 tables was for my dad's co-workers when he was working at towngas~ Some of those co-workers had known me since i was born, so when they saw me again they all said 2x yrs were going by so quickly....

My Cousins --> the young generation are all grown up

This 3lbs cake costed more than $400 -_-

the sweeties were so hyper during the dinner

In China (Part II - Eating)

Talk about eating, everyone knows how cheap and special in China could be. I dun even know how many meals i eat each day. Well the food used to be VERY cheap before, but as the city is improving, the restaurants there are much better now too. The quality of food were not that bad as i thought or as i saw on TV ((maybe i just didn't have that luck to try one or I'm not really in an undeveloped city)), the few restaurants i went were even bigger than some hotels in Vancouver, they have individual washroom ((Sitting Toilet!!!!)) and 42" Plasma TV. The service were excellent as well. Of cuz the price range of meals could be large too, you can spend like RMB$3-$5 for a bowl of delicious northern style noodles or you can spend RMB$100 to yum cha or RMB$1000 for dinner.

Restaurant A:

1. Plasma TV + Big Big Dinning Table

2. Restaurant B: just like a Hotel... have different apartments, like Seafood apartment, Dim Sum apartment, Noodle/Dumplings apartment.... also we had to walk like 5 mins before getting into room, cuz it's too far away.... haha

3. Saw some pig heads in a market near where i lived =D

4. the Mangos were so pretty and sweet...totally tasted diff from those in Van. yum yum

5. Wine List -- do you dare to try the 54degree alcohol one? ((P.S. the english is not as weired translated as we saw on internet, those pics are fake!))

In China (Part I - Housing)

went back to China ((中山--"Middle Mountain")) for 4 days, i dun even remember how many years have not been there, probably over 10 yrs i guess =/. Well of cuz everything changed completely -- now the city is so modern, full of ppl came out of the province to work there, new roads, new buildings, new restaurants... sometimes i even wondered if i was really in China or in some other modernized cities ((except during toilet time =P)). Most of my relatives moved out of the 祖屋 already and moved into some much better places.
Our 祖屋:

1. eating BBQ Whole Pig after "bai san"

2. The aisle our house located

3. My 表妹 & 七姨婆
New Home:

4. Penthouse

5. Front view - less and less farmlands

6. back view - the whole estate

Such a big big different now.... in fact i luv my祖屋 a lot, we used to have lots of nice chinese style furnitures, chinas, decorations ((i.e.嫁妝from many yrs ago)) they said those stuff are probably more than 100yrs old already, unfortunately somebody break-into the house and stole most of the stuff after they moved out.... my relatives are pretty sad about it, however they can do nothing anymore.=(

In HK II

OK another sad sad story here in HK.

after the 2nd night i slept in my room, i have more than 20 "mosquitoes bite" on my arms/hands/legs. -__- at the beginning i "thought" the bites were bited during "bai san" time, also i didn't open the A/C for the whole night becuz of the cooler morning + midnight, so i was wondering if those mosquitoes bited me during that time too. However after thinking a little bit deeply, i realized those should not be mosquitoes' bites and they should be "suck lar" bite. Since the room i'm sleeping is a MJ room, my dad suspects that those ppl come in and out wearing shoe so they bring in those so-called "SAND suck lar" into the room. But since there's no one sleeping in that room, so they never know that room has "problem" -_- at first i thought those are mosquitoe's bite too, but there're just more and more bites appeared on my skin, so i know they should not be mosquitoes bite as i saw no mosquitoes in my room. after that my mom already cleaned everything in the room again including the new bed sheet and pillow sheet, floors... anyways... i have to wear long sleeves + long pants now to cover my bites -_- ppl who dunno just say i'm so "attractive to mosquitoes".... T____T

In HK

SAD!! all my relatives said me "fat jor" when they first saw me again...I verify the truth again by starting to buy M size clothes and no longer fitting in S size clothes... poor me. =(

Went to "worship mountain (bai san)" the day after i arrived HK, oh man the sun almost killed me -_-! becuz all my ancestors were "original livers" in my village, so they got the right to bury in the mountain... so i kinda climbed up the mountain to "worship them". anyways i can't make any more describions in english, tell you later if you are interested.
