finishing the year of 2007

super lazy me... wanted to write more in Dec but ended up like the previous months... and again if something happened and i didn't drop it down within a few days, i kinda forget what had happened already.... also sometimes i wonder what should i write down here cos i'm not really sure who's visiting my blog, i dun want to share my private life with someone i dunno or even not my close frds, so... sometimes i rather write things in general and surface.

so 22nd-26th was my Las Vegas trip! i have never been there b4... this is my 2nd major trip in 2007. (1st one was Thailand trip in April) chose to go this place was b/c this city is so well-known in the world, also it's not very far away, so i gotta visit it at least once before i go back to HK! Many ppl had given me many advices before i go, i can really tell a lot of ppl had been there!! But travelling is always like this, what ppl tell you is one thing, what you experience is another. So we arrived Vegas at about 6pm on 22nd, it was cold but i was prepared. While we were thinking if we shall take the taxi to the hotel, a shuttle bus driver came over and offered to take 5 of us to our hotel for $45, me and step were like... WTH, i can add a bit more to take a limo with that, dun try to kwon us man!! So we ended up taking the taxi and it cost less than $15. oh ya we also gave like $3 tips to the taxi driver and he looked very unhappy -_-... haha so this was our 1st Vegas experience. We waited like 30-40 mins for the check-in b/c of the long lineup, we finally got our 西廂天字第一號房 - the far-est hotel room we ever had (and is in 17th floor, 19th is the highest). I guess it took us 10-15 mins to walk from the lobby through the casino and slot machine and take the elevator and walk to the rooms. So our entertainment for the night was going to the O show by Cirque du solie @Ballagio. The ticket was US$165 and we were sitting in the 2nd row!!!! we bought the tickets two months ago... it's really a famous show. After the show, i finally realized why those performers would dream to come to Vegas to perform, b/c everything is really in a world class level. especially the stage... it is so advanced.

badminton

自從每星期4去打返羽毛球之後﹐終於覺得weekday有返d意義。

因為上班族的生活苦悶﹐生活圈子又小﹐呢個活動又可以做運動又可以認識新朋友﹐太值得去了。

Went to high tea @DT with a girl who is my boss's client's daughter, same age as me and she's interested in pursuing the CFP destination, so she would like to have more information from me. The first impressive she gave me was she is a quite aggressive girl who chases for the things she wanted, i found it very interesting to talk to her becuz she's the type of girl that's so different from my friends, she's aggressive and strong, working woman type, somehow she lightens up my desires too. We chatted and went shopping together afterwards, quite a weird feeling though cuz this is the first time i met this girl and we went shopping for few hours..... anyways i bought lots of stuff cuz i was so exciting to have my very first year end bonus in my life, haha. After that i met up with ben and the girls to dinner @ Zakkushi, haven't been there for awhile, seems like the food selections have decreased...:(

first snow this yr

SAT: another day of exam. like before this is a 4-hour exam, no break in between, i almost break my neck after the exam. -_- sometimes i wonder why do we get to write so many exams in our life? non-stop exams since elementary... i guess there's gotta be something existed in the world to seperate those ppl who're qualified and those who're unqualified i guess? anyways after the exam went to lunch immediately cuz i was freaking hungry, then we were supposed to meet up Terence and Sing @Costco and grocery shopping for the house warming party tonight, however the snow got heavier and heavier so we needed to switch car and it took us another 45 mins. So we ended up go to his house directly. Terence's new home is pretty nice, new and warm. but it's a bit too far for us to just go MJ from now on, haha. So after dinner they started to play the very exciting monopoly and I helped Nianci to bath Michelle~ Michelle is getting big now but still very cool, she doesn't smile easily :( So the climax of the night was they played monopoly for FIVE HOURS in total and still get very excited about it. Carrie and i was like... errr... what the hell -_-". haha

SUN: heavy heavy snow, non-stop snowing for whole day.... usually under such an extreme weather i would go nowhere but stay home, unfortunately promised Ray to go watch Avril Lagvine with him so me and Ben went out in this "wonderful" weather and watch the OUTDOOR concert @ Swanguard. the concert was supposed to be started at 1pm and Ray said we should go at 10am. of cuz we banned the idea. so we went there at around 11ish almost 12, and the line up was like 5 km long already. around 1ish we finally got into the stadium and very lucky found some seats as well, but i was getting freaking cold and my feet were frozen already. wait and wait and wait... Avril still didn't show up due to the traffic jam. finally she appeared at around 2ish and sang like 9-10 songs. she sang live better than i expected, but i wanted to leave after the 3rd or 4th song cuz i was damn cold -_- it was a very good experience cuz i never tried it b4, however i dun think i'll try again in the future especially it's under HEAVY SNOW, OUTDOOR and the concert is FREE!!! idiot ray.

STUDY and STUDY

過了48小時的一天

今日我好似有48小時用咁﹐感覺十分之充實﹕

晨早去DT考香港政府公務員個乜鬼能力試﹐考足3 Part﹐有英文、中文同學能測驗。都有成過百人考﹐我仲見到阿MI同佢BF~ 個考試十分之英式﹐個監考官超無感情咁講完規則之後就開始考﹐由9點考到2點﹐雖然有Break但都考到我超支力+餓.... 考完之後我同BEN都覺得自己無論中文定英文﹐語文能力定grammar都超差﹐ but anyways, not a really big deal... 哈哈~ 之後匆忙地吃完lunch後就上山溫書﹐溫到咁上下就落Richmond 同阿Sing慶祝生日食飯唱K。之後佢帶左我地去私竇玩﹐好耐無夜浦既我已經開始覺得眼訓﹐不過好在d人都幾癲所以都醒返d。不過個場就麻麻﹐有勁多中年男人同江湖大家姐-_- 仲有可能飲得太多"野"﹐夜晚訓得超差。真係羅苦黎辛 -_-

I've already bought ticket for Aaron Kwok, so excited when I know he's coming to Van b/c he's my "white horse prince" when I was small, haha... even though i am not a big fan to him now I still want to see him perform on the stage. btw I so so sooooooo want to see Leehom!! he's my "prince" now so by the time I know i would meet him in Vegas I was so excited and called Ben immediately... cuz we both love him a lot, however the problem is i'm watching the O show on that night at 10pm, so i probably can only watch 1/2 of LeeHom if i'm really going... man I would have sacrificed the O show for him if I'm not sitting in the 2nd row for the O show -_-. anyways hopefully i'll bump into him on the street :D haha... for Jacky Cheung, i'd probably not going since the tix are so expensive. Lastly for Avril...honestly i'm not really interested, but since somebody's giving me free tix so ya... why not.

意外即係意外

唔想寫都要寫底... 因為我今日經歷我咁大個女既第一次嚴重交通意外。原來發生意外個一刻時間會好似慢格咁﹐我相信大概係3秒內發生既事﹕我聽到BEN講左句大穫啦 然後“彭”一聲巨響﹐然後我掩住塊臉大叫左一聲﹐跟住就聞到一陣燒焦味。不過可以話係不幸中既大幸既係無人受傷﹐想象下如果佢撞前d而唔係我後面﹐或者有人過緊馬路﹐咁我地就死定了。不過我當場已經嚇到傻左... 大難不死真係要多謝各方菩薩神明保祐 -_-

CFP training class this week

I'm a full time student for this week, class 9am-5pm everyday. Haven't tried that for a long long long time.... feel kind of happy about that cuz i thought student life has been a bit far from me already =(

so the preparatory training class is pretty useful, at least it makes me sit there and study for 7 hours everyday. however 9-5 is really too long... i always start "fishing" at around 3pm... but i wonder if i'm the only person who does that in the class b/c other ppl always "look" so concentrate... i wonder if that's b/c of the age, haha... anyways.... so today finally have the chance to have lunch with the girls, it was kinda rushed though -_- DT ppl eat so fast!!

Xmas in Vegas!

after all the research and plannings, everything is confirmed now: hotel + flight + show tickets!

I'm finally going to Vegas for the very first time, and it's gonna be Christmas!! Super duper excited, becuz everyone who've been to Vegas said it's a place really worths going...

but guess what I think I should concentrate on my study before I do anything else now~ + Oil~

Weekend

Another weekend...as usual went to work out in the morning, then went to DT shopping with jess carrie and priz~ always lots of fun shopping with frds cuz our main purpose is not shopping, but TALK!! keep talking and talking... i only remember we had lots of fun trying the $4xx & $3xx concentrate and moisuture gel from La Mer!! so after dinner we went to take sticker pics!! woohoo haven't done that for N yrs already... but we still had so much fun~~ hehe... and after that went to drink @go go tea cafe... 90% of the clients there are MALE!!! so funny to see how their "wolf" eyes followed the waitress while they walk by.... and we wonder why there isn't a place has some topless muscular waiter to serve drinks like the mini-skirt waitress there to serve us ne??!! that's not fair... :(

Weekend

Had a dinner gathering with the girls on yday night @ the Keg. Food was great like last time, but we had waited for an hour to get the table, so fucking crazy!! But they did serve us little treat while we wait gei.... So in order to burn the calories i consumed yday, I went to work-out @ SFU today and bumped into Pizila at the fitness center~ haha... so Q... after that went to DT to walk awhile b4 dinner, and saw this very very mo liu yet funny thing @ the new Urban Outfitter on Granville Street.

Thanksgiving Long Weekend

Today is the last day of the thanksgiving long weekend!!! didn't go anywhere these few days, just went crazy shopping and had a hair treatment. Work was sooo busy last week since my boss was away, so it's like 2 ppl doing 3 ppl's work, i was kind of frustrated about it. So actually they said they wanted to go to the States for shopping again, but i've gone few times this summer already, so not much interest at it. Although the Canadian $$ is getting stronger and stronger, the long lineup at the border really discourages me to go that frequently. Also I can still buy a lot of stuff here in Vancouver :D!! So Carrie is back from TW too!! thought she was sooo black luck that NEWS concert would be cancelled cuz of the typhoon, but so happy that it turned out to be better for her cuz she just watched both concerts in 1 day!!! i know you've lost your voice and arms!! what a great adventure... haha, so yeaaaa i'm waiting my "pineapple so" ar Clever Lau

食物誘惑

都說我呢兩個禮拜有食神~ 上禮拜日Raymond, Michael同Duncan做野間餐館個頭廚榮休擺左幾圍﹐我同Ben都走左去"撼"... 基本上去到我地覺得超唔關我地事~ 哈哈﹐不過唔知點解Ray同Mike又請埋我地去窩... 而今晚就同Joyce同Carrie去左新裝修既the Keg dinner~ 間野星期3都超多人﹐裝修唔錯不過黑左dd﹐不過d野就幾好食﹐仲食到有10個飽... 真係罪孽深重啊....

you know i'll miss u forever

It's never be a good thing when u hear a phone call in the middle of the night, becuz it means someone's calling you from oversea, and it's an emergency call.... Unfortunately... i got one this morning at 6am. My grandma called us and said my uncle has passed away from sickness. I felt so empty at that time, i didn't know how to response, all i was thinking were my grandma, my cousin and my auntie. The person who has gone is gone, only those who're left behind will suffer.

生日前後

轉下眼9月又過左三分之二! 點解呢個月過得咁X快既﹖月初就忙溫書﹐之後就忙安排節目比自己~ 唔知點解今年生日好想低調咁過... 真係越來越唔想提起自己又老一歲!! 不過今個月真係有"食神"入我命宮﹐好多人請食飯同食左好多餐好野!! 好似考完試個日就去左kerrisdale一間日本餐廳lunch﹐間野只係得壽司食﹐但就好多款式﹐好新鮮﹐好好味!! 基本上就咁食d壽司飯都好正~ 仲有呢個禮拜我狂收月餅﹐我第一次有咁多人送月餅俾我! 真係唔肥就奇...so 岩 岩上個weekend 去左Deception Pass state park camping... 都成年幾無去camping喇﹐買左個tent都未剪價錢牌。 第一日日頭好好太陽時就好溫暖﹐但到夜晚訓覺個陣就凍到痴線!! 第二日仲落雨..所以走左去shopping~~ well 其實某程度我都覺得人始終都係返唔到轉頭...文明慣既要過返原始生活都有d困難。不過有時人又係犯賤既﹐屋企高床暖枕又想訓下睡袋窩~ 希望carrie最終無冷到病﹐去唔到台灣"朝聖"就鬧pizila啦! 哈哈~~

last day of August

Mr. Tang said he's paying half of the LV wallet i wanted (((which worths USD$7xx))) if i pass my exam this time! haha how generous is he... but giving me rewards actually doesn't really work, cuz there isn't anything i really wanted and i cannot afford it myself!! well....maybe giving me "penalities" would be more motivated! but i really wanna rock it this time la...... i'll do my best no matter what, b/c i dun want to waste another half yr and my free re-writes is using up.....

oh well is september tmr! skool starting and bday coming~ dun really want to celebrate it cuz i feel so old already... although someone said only young ppl would say they're old, i dun want to grow up that fast! i miss my 18/22 "like a golden flower" and "wake up without an alarm clock"'s life.... =(

what can i say

what can i say?....i whined about how boring my routine job is and how desperately i want to have a change, I got a "i think is a good" news today -- i got an increment. well it's not a direct raise but i'm getting paid for an extra hour until 6pm, and i am already staying until 6:30pm to pick up my mom everyday.

Well the job is still routine and boring, but... it will be considerably less boring when u know u get paid more, right.

Mom and Dad are back!

mom and dad are back... my lifestyle is back to "normal". although i almost burnt my kitchen... i kinda miss my home alone life!!

so we had a very fun BBQ party last last Sunday @ Ray's hse again ((oh man this place is very updated....))!! it was more like a pets gathering party cuz we had 3 dogs and 1 cat and 1 baby in total. and the guys were having so much fun playing basketball....

BC day Road Trip to Oregon

Road trip to Oregon on BC Day long weekend~ haven't been there for quite a few years but well...didn't have much desire to go again... however 2 days weren't that long to go somewhere further, so ended up going again. the trip was well planned by our tour guide Michael Chan so it was very efficient and economic!! (((except having 5 ppl in 1 car was not very comfortable))) We left home @ 4:30am that morning and drove down along the Oregon Coast, then we came back up from the other side through Portland. I can't believe we went to so many towns and attractions during this 2 day trip.... honestly i dun really remember the name of the towns since they're so small and unfamous~ So besides the tourist attractions we also went to two outlets and one of them is so-called the biggest outlet in N.A.... i didn't find it any better than Premium Outlets honestly, except it's Tax free in Oregon! we also went Portland DT for shopping but i didn't buy anything either...so afterall the most exciting shopping place we found actually was Wal-Mart - the price is cheaper, the portion is bigger, and it's no tax!!! i bought six rolls of paper towel for $3.5....what a great deal~~~ The funniest thing for this trip was how Michael tried to warn Ray/Rog whenever they try to speeding, make turns, or cut lane....and also how we spent only 10 mins to cross the boarder...why? becuz we were a whole bunch of morons. =D

so honored to be invited to be the first guest to check out my manager's new house today... they'll be moving in in like 10 days and the house is almost completed now. I always say that my manager is really a role model for me... not only she is earning so much $$$ and being a successful person, but in many other ways that she really makes other ppl admire her. She has the strongest will-power i've ever seen and she always has a good heart to everyone... no matter her friends or her clients or even us her employees.... i wish i can be that influential and successful like her in one day.....(((and own a million-$$ house like her haha)))

Home Alone

mom and dad left to HK for some affairs... gotta be home alone for a month~ if i was 18 i would feel so excited b/c i can get wild... but now i just think it's too troublesome for me cuz i need to do all the laundry and cooking myself... good that Ben's home alone too, so we'll just go out to eat instead~ but while i'm getting more concern on the food i eat and its nuitrition value it's just another problem when we're deciding what to eat. No junk food, No hot air food, No oily food, No expensive food, No repetitive food...once in awhile is Okay, but keep this for a month would kill me! i know i'm picky.. becuz i'm a Virgo ma~

Summer in Vancouuuuver~ CHEERS!

Always feel so excited and energized when the summer's coming to Vancouver~ when u see the sun and feel the heat, when u go to the beach and see the bikinis, when u BBQ at your backyard and drinking beer w/ ur family and frds.... oh I'm sure I'm living in one of "the best places on earth"~

so i went to Stanley park for cycling on last Sat. it's my favourite activity during the summer time~ (but since i'm so scared of the UV....i did put a lot of sunscreen on) then ray joined us for sun-tanning @ second beach. beautiful saturday afternoon...many ppl (young girls) @the beach~ I'm sure Ray had some eye candies... hahaha... then we had a "slow" walk to Yaletown for dinner... the million$$ apartment/condo @DT are all so hi-end man.....so the walk finally took like an hr and i was starved to death....-_-. another funny thing was when we were having our dinner and almost finished off the risotto, we found two hair in the rice~~so happy...b/c the $22 Risotto became free of charge~ hahaha...=D

I strongly agree that we should have more long weekends or statutory holidays during summer time.... like we should have at least 5 days to celebrate the wonderful Canada Day or we should celebrate with the States for their Independence Day... since we always follow the States so we should have the day off together too! oh well...

so... went to Seattle on Canada Day. We left home at around 6:45am & arrived the border in about an hour later.. quite surprised we didn't have to wait very long, i guess most ppl left on sat already~ oh one thing when crossing the border was i bought the Clarins sunblock i wanted in the duty free for 40% lower than the counter price after all the deals (15% off, exchange rate + no tax)! isn't it excited?! haha.. so our first stop was Chittenden Locks (Lake Washington Canal) to see how the ships and boats pass through the canel...umm.. a very educational place. It actually makes me wanna have a ship myself~ then we headed to the DT area, went to Pike Place Market. Lots of ppl there, just like our granville island. Walked around and tried the famous clam chowder there.... although i dun like most of the things from U.S., i have to admit that their buildings are much more "metropolitan" than ours... so after the lunch we started our shopping mission. I was so prepared for it that i wore my ready-to-dispose shoe and didn't even bring a bag with me. but so disappointingly i only got two tops at the end. so after we had our dinner @ cheesecake factory, our car was ready to leave the town and Mike's car went to check in for the hotel room. The lineup at the border was crazy...it costed exactly two hours for the waiting. We watched the whole Lam Hoi Fung 是但up痞底噴飯 talk show in the car and didn't get home until 1am.... were totally exhausted, showered and met up 周公 within 2 minutes.

Dunno if i was too lucky or unlucky, my CFP exam ended up written one week later than the original day... it happened becuz they posted the wrong time on the website and they couldn't reach me through telephone and my old sfu email, i ended up went to the afternoon session instead of the morning session... so they couldn't let me write it becuz my exam is 4 hours and they were schduled 3 hours shift only... so... i gotta suffer another week again... i guess it's probably a good thing becuz i did study a bit more during the week.... so.. hopefully i'll have good news this time^^

Also...so happy to Terence and Nianci becuz the baby is finally born yesterday, Jun 25, 2007!! and it's A GIRL!!! so funny that we were still playing MJ with them the day b4 and went to Ray's house warm BBQ party afterwards.... and then the next morning i got a call from Terence saying that they're in the hospital and waiting to give birth.... so dramatic! haha.. so.. i have seen two babies this yr already! one's from my sis and one's from my frd! i have such a feeling that we're going to the next stage of our life: No more school, getting independent, starting a career, building a family... a New Page of Our Life.

Can u believe it? today is June 06, 2007 already! half of 2007 has gone by...what did i accomplished so far?? i am feeling kind of lost right now... opinions are given everyday, am i living in other ppl's words and expectations or sth? what if i fail? what if i'm not that ambitious as they said? would they all be disappointed about me? the future is still so uncertain, who can guide me through this?

So congratulations to my dear Step... i feel so happy for you when i saw your whole family came to your convocation from HK just for you! i mean like... your WHOLE family!! that was really touching... =) Also thanks to my dear Saimon... i received the postcard you sent to me la! where did you "copy" the chinese poem from?? as your chinese is only elementary level i don't even think u understand what that means! lolz.... but anyways, you've become a 好漢 now! envy you... I want to go to Beijing too! maybe you'll consider bringing me next time too? =D

今日我地7:30am到機場集合﹐搭泰國東方OX航空公司8:15am航班直飛布吉。之前被勸喻儘量唔好搭泰國東方﹐因為係細機﹐又機齡大。但因為金錢考慮以及別無選擇所以都要冒一冒生命危險。上到飛機覺得都okay﹐唔算特別殘舊﹐不過就無咩人搭﹐得30、40人。。機上我地仲見到6、7個麻甩佬一齊去Phuket﹐佢地同我地一樣好似好興奮咁﹐所以我地估計係尋歡團﹐u know...哈哈 大概飛左個零鐘就到啦﹐Phuket機場好細﹐d海關仲好他條咁刨住報紙等我地。天氣方面就十分好太陽﹐因為夏天岩岩過左﹐所以唔算好熱﹐31、2度啦。之後我地去食lunch﹐Chinese style thai food﹐不過不失。之後我地有15分鐘空檔時間就走左過對面一個小型購物中心﹐重點係見到一個好高好大隻好黑實好有愛心既泰仔。 之後就去Island Safari Adventure騎大苯象睇馬騮仔﹐suppose坐2個人既大笨象 我地就坐左3個﹐搞到隻象上斜個陣行唔 郁﹐所以個訓練員就係咁打佢個頭﹐我地大叫I Love Elephant都照扑。係個動物園裡面留左兩個幾鐘終於走喇﹐導遊帶左我地去全phuket最大(就黎唔係最大)既shopping mall Central Festival買日用品﹐泰國既Wacoal同Boots出名平靚正﹐當然我地都要趁機入入貨。我地買左兩支大大支既Boots Shampoo & Conditioner都係79Barts(CAD$2.6)each ja!! 之後我地仲買左d生果返酒店食﹐特別d芒果﹐真係又甜又香芒果味。行完街街後就去Dinner﹐Thai Buffet. 我地仲見到人結婚添。食飽飽後finally可以去酒店check-in. 因為玩左成日成身汗好想沖個涼。我地住間酒店叫Kata Palm Resort﹐雖然係3星但都幾靚幾有度假feel。間房個pool view都幾relax! 因為我地3個人﹐所以我就要同埋女導遊一間房。話就話兩間房但其實兩間房中間係有度門可以進出既。


第一天行程後感想﹕雖然玩到成身汗臭味﹐我地又做人肉吸蚊機﹐但都好興奮! 聽日潛水啊....超期待! oh ya.. i also wanna say that our tour bus is super cool !! 純情粉紅色的唷...

Day 2: Coral Island - Jewelry Store - 蜂園 - Patong Night Market

係酒店食完豐富早餐就出發去哈哈島潛水! 今日天朗氣清﹐去到碼頭後大概坐15分鐘"大飛"就到達哈哈島。一上到岸我地就異常興奮﹐因為真係陽光於海灘啊....島上個小型resort﹐不過可能我地早既關係﹐所以無咩人出海灘曬太陽游水。settle down之後我地就自由活動﹐潛水既潛水﹐玩香蕉船既玩香蕉船﹐游水晒太陽既游水晒太陽。我地學帶氧氣桶潛水既著好全副武裝就去個鹹水泳池實習。唔好講笑﹐個氧氣桶超級重﹐行去泳池個段路都差d行唔 郁。 因為我地係初級潛水﹐所以係唔需要考牌既。連唔識游水都可以潛~ 咁個教練係泳池度就教我地一d手勢同點樣呼吸﹐都唔算太困難。之後休息一陣就正式下水喇~ 我地3個一組+一個教練﹐落到水教練就拖住Carrie﹐而我同Priz就捉住Carrie件潛水衣等我地唔會散開。雖然d水大概得8-10呎深﹐但我地見到好多魚魚同珊瑚礁啊~~ 仲有超多海膽散步!!! so cute... 如果你率率手指d魚魚仲會kiss你添~ 潛完水我地就係島上食Lunch﹐chinese style thai food again!! 團餐係咁ga la... 之後行程安排返酒店小休兩個鐘﹐Carrie少少感冒訓左﹐我同Priz就去酒店泳池游水晒太陽~ so relaxing... 食飯前行程安排去珠寶城同金山角蜂園﹐無咩特別﹐可以掠過。夜晚食完飯後就去全Phuket最大既夜市兼紅燈區-芭東夜市。有好多酒吧同好多人妖~ 我地重同人妖影相不過唔知原來要俾錢﹐好在講價成功者~ 哈哈! 我地行完一圈後已經累到死﹐加上我地對呢類型夜生活無咩興趣﹐所以我地就坐底食泰國好出名的雪糕等夠鐘集合喇。第2日聽有d團友講話去左睇人妖show﹐你買支啤酒就可以坐係度睇佢地跳舞。最緊要就預備一堆散紙打賞就得喇~

第二天行程後感想﹕陽光與海灘﹐海底好靚啊~~~

Day 3: Free time all day in Phuket

It's gonna be a long day today!!
今日全日自由活動時間﹐可以選擇去激流﹐去鳥蛋島浮潛﹐去攀牙灣睇風景等等活動。我地3個就揀左去鳥蛋島浮潛﹐因為儘量陽光與海灘係我地既ultimate goal of the trip! so同尋日一樣﹐我地食完早餐後就坐大飛去鳥蛋島。我地隻船除了我們之外全部都係韓國人﹐聽導遊講南韓宜家開放旅遊限制﹐所以開始好多人可以出外旅行﹐而泰國就係熱點之一。so鳥蛋島之所以叫鳥蛋島﹐係因為遠看個島成隻蛋咁﹐其實個島唔係好大﹐20分鐘可以行完一圈。咁一上島放底d野之後我地就原船人馬出海浮潛。浮潛唔同帶氧氣桶潛水﹐我地只有救生衣、goggle同支J形吸氣氣管﹐所以係潛唔到落水既。最遺憾既係Carrie因為近視所以同唔到我地一齊出去﹐不過佢一d都唔悶﹐因為佢忙於搽太陽油同用麵包餵飽晒海裡面既魚喇﹐哈哈。食lunch之後我地就被一個當地人邀請一齊再出海浮潛。佢問我地想唔想睇Shark﹐咁我同priz當然話好啦~ 不過當我地同導遊講話去睇Shark既時候個導遊就勁驚訝﹐佢話帶左咁多次團黎都未聽過話有Shark既﹐如果有既一定要話佢知窩!!我同priz當然唔理咁多﹐有人帶當然去喇~ 我地不斷游啊游見到勁多魚同珊瑚﹐但就係唔見有shark窩。不知不覺游左大半個鐘﹐直到個當地人叫我地望下個天先發現原來有幾舊黑雲飄緊過黎﹐唔怪之得d水開始唔清。佢話天氣關係所以見唔到shark喇﹐所以我地就回程喇。一上到岸Carrie就問我地點解可以潛咁耐﹐仲有離遠浮下浮下、兩個著救生衣一個無著既係咪我地﹐佢話有人以為我地有危險仲問駛唔駛救我地窩!! 之後返酒店我先發現原來我隻腳背面同我patpat都burnt左~ 特別右小腿﹐一直發熱!!! shit...原來我隻腳搽唔夠防晒+我烈日當空下前後潛了2個鐘...我隻豬腳熟左﹐痛死我喇 T_T!! 雖然腳痛﹐但之後我地都照行左出去酒店附近既大浪海灘... 滑浪啦﹐水上電單車啦...我通通都無玩!!! shit!! 夜晚導遊帶左我地去食泰國地道金邊魚旦粉﹐終於有d"似樣"既野食下喇...仲要一碗30Barts(CAD$1)咋! 食飽飽後我地就去做SPA喇!! 玩左成日﹐又差d曬到變紅燒乳豬之後做返個水療、香熏桑拿、全身磨沙、全身精油按摩、Facial、腳底按摩.....真係好舒服啊.........

第三日行程後感想﹕我已經儘量縮短... 但都成篇字! 因為今日行程真係好豐富﹐好難忘﹐好好玩...

HK + Thailand 2007

Going to finish my 27 days vacation in HK soon! omg leisure time passes faster as usual... did some last minute shopping w/ priz yday and saw Simon !! he came out from nowhere while i was shopping @ MK!! haha he bidded the HK flight just for us... i'm so glad to see u again after the short apart!! haha... so the most memorable time for this trip was our 4 days short trip to Phuket, Thailand. I'm just lovin' Phuket!! the hotel, the beach, the ppl... we were like princess there haha! ok my leg got sunburnt after the 2 hrs snorkerling!! too bad we didn't see the sharks but i see lots of coral and other kind of fishes... hopefully i will write a recap of our thailand trip later =D

so much activities lately... too lazy to write down everything and now i forgot most of them...

Ok i only remember i went to a 1-day U.S. Trip on April 1st w/ step, jess and my company's fellows and clients. The typical Tulip + Oyster + Premium Outlet itinerary.... but the trip was cheap (cuz we reserved the whole tour bus ourselves) and fun~ especially the buffet... way better than last time~ and the highlights of the day were Step ate 4 raw oysters as her breakfast and we used $36 to buy 3 supersized body lotion from Crabtree...


so what else did i do....oh yeah we celebrated Carrie's bday!! poor carrie her bday is always in the middle of final exam... but this yr is different, cuz we ALL GRADUATED~~~ yeah!!! so happy birthday carrie!!! we'll celebrate again in HK~!!

ok i can think of no more.... cuz my soul is already swimming in Thailand...

Feel so honored to be invited to join the ceremony and i feel so proud of you saimon! Looking at your class, i just think... there's absolutely no discrimination when hiring FA in AC!


March 31st: Celebration + Farewell Party
We had Alaska King Crabs and bought him a very nice chocolate truffle cake with his favourite AC Logo! Sing K afterwards... had a pretty interesting experience dealing with the priority of using the room. I learnt another lesson~



April 1st: Company 1stQ celebration party + Farewell for Simon
Dinner @ kingford to celebrate our record breaking RRSP season and farewell for simon AGAIN!! haha

We stayed 'til the end and sing almost the whole Leo + joey concert there... the audio system was even better than K-Mix!

My Weekend: Bazaar, Dinner, Work-out, Reading

SAT was bazaar time again @ the community center beside Library and Eileen Daily... last time it was a flea market and ppl were selling 2nd stuff, this time is for the small business in the community. me and Ben was just helping out for Sunny to clean his stock.... unfortunately there weren't much ppl coming, probably becuz of the heavy rain and ppl are more interested in cheap 2nd stuff than brand new stuff =( After the bazaar went to Sing's house to sing K with Sunny. oh not sing Karaoke in fact, but he played Piano and i sing besides him. We sang "One Way Ticket" for like 20+ times.... Auntie said I'm hilarious =D. then at night went to dinner @ DT, we went to Zakkushi again... didn't make any reservation so we waited for like an hour to be seated... finished dinner at almost 11pm, then went to Carrie's home to MJ until 2ish...

SUN finally the sun came out!!! we've got enough of rain during holidays and weekends... plz let us do some outdoor activities after 5 days of work maybe? So today i went to gym again. Met priz there and we exercised and weight training. Feel so sorry that i didn't go to step's volunteering event which i promised i would go. But i know step you won't mad at me gei Right.... =)

My Weekend: Exam, Ladies' Night, Work-out

Had 2 days study leave from work and finally had my exam on SAT... oh man, it was horrible. Dun really wanna think about it... thanks for those of you who supported and encouraged me, i did study hard and i also did forget fast, haha. As u can tell from my pimples I really pushed myself very hard this time, Well it's actually not a big deal if i dun pass it this time, but i really dun wanna waste another half year cuz if i dun pass this time, i can't catch the final exam on June and the next one will on Dec. The earlier i finish, the earlier i can decide what i can do with it. But no matter what it'll be, it's such a relief now.

So after exam of cuz i need to chill out with my honeys again! We played MJ and went out for dinner. It was our Ladies' night yday~ We went to Sammy J Peppers and chat and eat and chat and eat... We realized that we all have some sort of psychological disorder after we started working! Pressure from everywhere ma. Well I really had a great night yday ne~ we should have at least one gathering each month la!

oh ya i also went to the SFU's new fitness center today, with DUNCAN CHAN!!! yes he's back from Japan and i went to exercise with him!! He showed me the new posters from recreation center and i saw someone we know~~

new glasses

finally got my new glasses~ I had so much difficulty on deciding what kind of glasses i should get, should i choose from the ordinary brand names (ie. Dior/Chole/Vivienne Westwood/Chanel...) or the brands that really specialized in making glasses (ie. Alain Mikli, X-ice...)? also should i get something special designed or should i be conservative on picking the glasses since i would wear them to work...

finally, i picked this one... is it too IN??? =v=

Ski Trip 2007 @ Silver Star (Jan 4-7)

今年既Ski Trip 對我黎講簡直就係四日三夜增肥團﹐行程既飲食簡直媲美蔡欄/滔滔既美食團。我四日後總共重左三磅!! Holy... Raymond 都話佢四日重左四磅﹐係前所未有發生過既事wor﹐哈哈。Ok 我地今年去左Silver Star (located in Vernon) 比上年去Big White 遠d﹐渣大概五個鐘頭車到。照舊我地第一日租酒店第二日先上山。因為本小姐已經對滑雪完全喪失興趣﹐所以我同Carmen就留守大本營等幾位大爺小姐可以安心地一訓醒就食﹐食完就滑﹐滑下又食﹐食完又滑.... 既滑雪行程喇。oh by the way﹐今年租果間屋好唔惦﹐但又其實唔係唔惦﹐只係上年間屋太正﹐所以覺得今年差好多。上年我地霸晒三層﹐每層獨立廁所﹐indoor hot tab... 今年就得兩層半﹐仲要樓下分租左﹐得一個廁所﹐個半層重只係擺左四張小朋友超細床褥﹐hot tab 又要走出屋外...
